My 1st Attempt To Blog @ Home

The noise of firecrackers and the smoke of burning tires on the streets plus the full blast volume of karaoke’s and sound systems is too much but that’s how everyone here greets the New Year in the Philippines. So let me greet everyone first a Happy New Year 2010!!! May all of us have a blessed and prosperous year ahead.

Flashback

Going back to the year 2009 of my life, I consider myself a “survivor”, from good to bad, happiest to the saddest. Thank God. Let me list down some of it for the benefit of this blog..hehe

• My sister had her irritating bowel movement, went to the doctor and found out that she’s having some problem related to her ovary, something round is developing (size of a tennis ball) and it has to be removed right away. I have to help financially because they don’t have money. – very bad.

• My wife back for good to BPI after almost a year. That’s good news because she’s earning much more than me. – very good.

• I became disabled, I mean unemployed scheduled middle of April. Their reason, the company is affected by global economic crisis and I have to be the sacrificial lamb for them to survive, wtf! – bad…really really bad!

• But something came up before April and it was blessing in disguise. During the month of March, I was invited to do a project under San Miguel Corporation to visit their branches nationwide…all expenses paid with allowance. That’s why during the month of March to June, I have to ride a plane every week and stay for 3 days. I was able to visit Mindanao, Western Visayas and even some part of Northern Luzon. – very good.

• This time it’s bad because my laptop was broken. I need to replace the LCD for a new one. For now I need to connect it to a monitor to be able to use it to get online and check my email, chat with some friends and update my Facebook (you can add me). – bad.

• I got a new web project called www.pinoyresidence.com and I have to do it for FREE for the sake of friendship. – good.

• A new C2D laptop, MSI CR400 T6600, courtesy of my lovely wife. Thanks mommy!!! – very good.

I think that’s it for now. There are so many little and big things are still happening to me and I hope in welcoming year 2010, not just me but all of us will be positively prosperous in this coming year. – chow!
