Come on, Hachiko. Let’s go, ” Eisaburo Ueno said as he walked out the door. The White Akita dog was already waiting for him, wagging it’s tail and ready to go. Every morning they walked together to the Shibuya station, where Mr. Ueno got on the train. in the evenings, when he returned from work, Hachiko was at the station waiting for him, and together they walked home.

Mr. Ueno was a professor at Tokyo University, and he took the train to and from work. For years Hachiko accompanied his owner to the station in the mornings. And in the evenings, when Mr. Ueno stepped off the train, Hachika already there sat waiting.

But one day in 1925 something terrible happened. The day started out as usual, with Hachiko accompanying Mr. Ueno to the railroad station, but while at work the professor had a sudden heart attack and died. That evening the train rumbled into the Shibuya railroad station, where Hachiko sat as usual. He eagerly looked around, but his owner wasn’t there. The dog whimpered and trudged home alone.

Hachiko faithfully returns to the same spot at the station the very next day, and every day for the next nine years to wait for his beloved master. During his daily visits, Hachiko touches the lives of many who work near and commute through the town square. He teaches the local people love, compassion and above all unyielding loyalty.

For the next 9 years Hachiko faithfully met the evening trains until he died at the Shibuya station. His faithfullness and devotion didn’t go unnoticed, and today, a bronze statue of Hachiko sits in his waiting spot outside the Shibuya station in Japan as a permanent reminder of his love and devotion.

Hachiko was loyal to his owner. If only we could be that faithful to our God–our Creator, our Savior, and our Friend. Maybe you have relatives who don’t believe in God and who try to get you to do things shouldn’t. Perhaps other kids tease you when you pray in public. Or could you get so busy that it’s hard to find time to read your Bible and pray regularly? Whatever the circumstance, whether it seems big or small, “remain faithful to Jesus.” Rev: 14: 12 – “This calls for patient endurance on the part of the saints who obey God’s commandments and remain faithful to Jesus.”

WTF? Just because your candidate lost, you want the country to lose too?

A government is NOT built, and does not succeed, on the basis of one person.

I did not cast my vote for Noynoy but I respect the majority of the people who votes for him and thinks what’s best for the country.

After Cory, FVR, Erap, and even GMA “won” in 1986, 1992, 1998, and 2004, and those who supported Roco and FPJ did not act like little children and throw tantrums.

Instead, we wished them all the best, wished the Philippines the best, and moved on as one.

Any President’s success, whether or not you voted for him or her, will be your success so don’t be like kids.

Don’t even dare to think otherwise, or wish the country harm. If you won’t be part of the solution, then you’re the problem.

And oh, for the instant oppositionists and ad hoc election experts?

NOYNOY AQUINO garnered the most votes for President ever in any election in Philippine history.

So please respect Vox populi. Because really, if you don’t, you’re just being…AMPALAYA!!!

Every time I mingled with other people specially with my friends, the topic and the question that always arises “Who is your bet?”. With the 5 days more to go (as I write this post) before the election we can now clearly see who will gonna win.

These are the big names that are being uttered whenever they answer, NOYNOY, GIBO, ERAP, and for vice it’s BINAY or Roxas. Did you noticed someone missing in their list? Your guess is as good as mine. Despite of his enormous amount of airtime in television alone, its a wonder why VILLAR’s popularity suddenly dropped as compared to his status on the first stage of his campaign since last year. When I asked them why Villar is not their popular choice anymore, most answered they are afraid on how he will recover his expenses since he claims that they are from his own pocket.

Some religious sectors have already announced their support to certain candidates. Although we can question the solidarity of their voting bloc, still this has big influence in the chances of the candidates to win. I just hope that the voter’s will vote wisely base on the integrity and qualifications but not merely on what was mandated to them.

We are all given the power to choose which was established since the time when the first man and woman was put in the garden of Eden. The Lord gave them the freedom of choice but never dictated them on their decisions. God wants us to show that He is not a dictator.

In our present time, the Lord is always here to remind us to be on the right path but still the final decision will still be ours. Let us seek the wisdom of the Lord to help us in choosing the right person to lead our nation. And let us all unite for a peaceful, orderly and honest election. Amen.

A lesson has been learned from the past and I believe that this time, it’s our last chance to correct that mistake. Sometimes we commit mistakes because of the influence in our surroundings and we listen to it. This country of ours is great so many potentials and talented people living with firm decisions not influenced by others. I know sooner we will rise and shine like the sun and stars in our flag because of the new leaders we will now selected.

Even the paths we follow in life can be likened to music, whether we live by a beat evenly paced or staccato or even syncopated. We get the most out of life, though – as well as music – when we blend together with others’ beats and melodies to form a harmony like that of the best classical music or the grooviest jazz.

In celebration of music’s sheer uplifting and emotive power, the Philippine Madrigal Singers have worked with choirs from all walks of life with the Madz Et Al network since 1981. This year, the Madz recognize the smooth and moving flow of jazz music and how it expresses the ups and downs of our lives with “Choral Rhythms: The 2010 Madz Et Al Jazz Festival”, a musical gathering in the proud Madz Et Al tradition of spotlighting among the most hardworking and talented upcoming choral groups.

The festival runs from May 2 to May 8 at the Philamlife Theater, UN Avenue Manila, beginning at 7 p.m. featuring various choirs from all over the Philippines.

Yesterday (Sabbath) after lunch my family watched this film produced by Amazing Facts entitle The Final Events of Bible Prophecy. Actually, it’s my second time to watch this movie and every time I watch it, it reminds me of my life as of this moment. How’s my faith right now? Am I living in accordance to the will of God? is my path straight enough for Him to come right now and me being saved?

Yesterday, I feel so blessed because of two things? A very inspiring sermon by Bro. Michael Dalida that says, signs of the times are now being felt and seen, this are just small footsteps of the BIG thing that is coming and yet have we done our part in spreading the gospel of Jesus. He said, there are two ways or types how to spread the gospel of God, through pastors preaching and the second is the silent preachers which is our good books. This work is not just for lay evangelist who go house to house sell books and minister, but this work is for every members of the church which I was challenged. And second reason why I am so blessed is I’ve watched this video The Final Events of Bible Prophecy. So, I want you to watch it also and I am sharing it to you through this website of mine.
