A couple of days ago, I just receive a yahoo message on my account saying that on 18th July, Philippine will get 8.1 earthquake. Saying that thousands of people will die suggesting to advise my family’s and love ones to be out of high rise buildings for safety. I myself is working in an office that is in a tall building, asking myself it’s true? Do I have to leave my work on that day? But it seems that am not just the only one who receive this kind of message almost everybody is already talking about even at home, they already know. (more…)

Early Detection of Stroke

If we were able to identify early signs of a stroke, we might be able to save a life or preventing a loved one, friend or anyone to experience a helpless, hopeless condition which are the consequences of surviving a stroke.

Although there are ‘movie heart attacks’ which are sudden and intense and recognizable, most attacks starts slowly with mild pain and discomfort.  If you suspect someone is experiencing a heart attack, you may ask the victim to do three simple things which can save the victim’s life. (more…)

Computing Technology Industry

We can’t get away from them - computers are everywhere, from the washing machine to the car it seems everything is now run by a computer and with the exponential rate they are advancing there is probably more computing power in the average mobile phone than NASA used to put a man on the moon.

And that has always been a problem for industry, as unlike other areas that computers have to function in, such as the home or office, computers in industry have to be manufactured to a robust standard and have to deal with all sorts of hostile environments from dust filled warehouses and baking hot furnaces to soaking wet production lines and deep freeze lockers. Microsoft denies Xbox 360 Blu-ray drive again

Microsoft has once again moved to crush rumours that it will be putting a Blu-ray drive in its Xbox 360 games console.

The rumours, which resurfaced yet again last week suggested that the Microsoft was looking to put a Blu-ray drive in the console following the demise of the HD DVD format.

However Microsoft in an official email to gaming website GamePro said:

“As we have stated, we have no plans to introduce a Blu-ray drive for Xbox 360. Games are what drive consumers to purchase game consoles, and we remain focused on providing the largest library of blockbuster games available.” (more…)
