Are you addicted to group buying?
Without a doubt me and my partner is really addicted to this so called online group buying. And evidently, it invaded the Philippines market because as of this moment there are around 20 active websites successfully operating.
So what is a Group Buying site?
A Group Buying site banks on the power of “collective buying.” It is a well-accepted fact that individually, people don’t have much bargaining power versus the seller when buying a product or service. When these people unite, however, they can as a group negotiate for lower prices or better deals.
These group buying sites, customers can get discounts of up to 90%. In most cases, too, these deals are exclusively offered through the sites. Anywhere else, these group discounts are not available — not even in the stores themselves.
For example at cashcash pinoy, recently offers Warts Removal for only P300 pesos (discounted at a regular price P1,500)
Another example is a Subic Grand Seas Romantic Getaway! P3,990 for a 2D/1N stay for 2 + Breakfast and Dinner plus Sunset Cruise or Couples Massage! (Discount: 51%, Value: P8100)
The power of group buying indeed translates to huge discounts for Filipino users.
